Conservation Work in Stained Glass

Whilst taking preventative measures, any windows that require conservation work, will be removed and taken back to the workshop. The conservation process involves maintaining the original pieces, replacing only what is necessary.

Repairing Windows in Situ

Sometimes taking all the windows out to replace a handful of broken panes of glass is not the way forward. In these cases you can replace the broken panes in situ, which requires patience and a careful hand, especially when dealing with old weathered lead. Back to Blog >

Stained Glass Rebuild

A complete rebuild with the original design restored. I cleaned the glass, removed the old lead and replaced it with new.
